Why are you automatically assuming that we laughed or thought that it was fine?

Those of us (even ones who aren't fans of guns) who have basic intelligence and critical thinking skills understood that it was constitutionally unsound.

We already have a megathread about this, people posting dozens of threads about it will only cause more people to side with visa/mc as it's becoming spam.

Hmm, I just searched the first 3 pages with debanking as a keyword and it's not in that thread. Thank you for you back seat moderating, but you appear to have missed the mark here as there is literally nothing about debanking gun sales in the thread you referenced.

The irony is this has nothing to do with banks or debarking so of course the OP isn't going to find people talking about debarking. It's truly astounding that people don't know the difference between banks and payment processors.

This genuinely has nothing to do with Trump. Just because the Biden administration pioneered "debanking" doesn't require some Trump equivalent. Republicans historically have been anti-video game violence, so they are not the "heroes" here, but it doesn't change the fact that this tactic was developed and employed by the Biden admin.

They are gross and trash, but as the ACLU used to understand, it's a slippery slope when you start shutting things down because "the majority of us don't like it anyway." I wasn't actually talking about ♥♥♥♥ or ♥♥♥♥ games in general. I was specifically talking about the few topics that were specifically targeted in being taken down. I think it is completely understandable and justifiable for a company or companies to collectively take something down if it's not going to allow them to do business, possibly violate laws, definitely cause a disturbance, and potentially cause further issues down the road. Nowadays, even something unproblematic causes problems so what can you expect? Something deeply problematic like those topics was obviously going to cause a big stir

Then you need to read up on it more as its not the same. Their bank accounts, credit cards, lines of credit, etc are all unaffected. Its nothing at all like debanking, and the very term debanking isn't applicable as its not the banks doing anything.
