Points shop
friendly reminder if you dont own anything in the Dota 2 Complete Item Bundle it'll cost you £2,226.67 (at 20% off too!) for that bundle.

To put that in perspective, you could buy 6 Steam Decks and have £132.67 left over.
Anyone else think it the '100 points for every £1' should be increased?

I have been given hundreds of thousands of points just for helping on the forums.

That's not including the points I farm using in game purchases and selling on the Market.

how does that even work, don't you just get points from purchasing games?

This.

Also, the intent of "points" and the point shop, *isn't* for you to throw money at things just to get points so you can buy a stupid cosmetic. Points are an incidental bonus, not the end goal.

That offer definitely sounds too good to be true, and as such those points were most likely stolen. Don't be that guy who doesn't ask the question. The person who spent four hundred dollars. Isn't likely to be so strapped for cash. That they'd settle for that, or go through the trouble. To sell their points for that.

Those points are almost certainly stripped from hacked accounts, and getting awards just can't make the math magically work out. Nobody is putting in the work to earn four hundred Jesters. In order to sell them for all of seven dollar online. Setting aside the moral implications. Dealing with anyone up for making that deal. Is just asking to be made into a victim yourself.
Steam used to be the place to buys games. I never buy games at full price or even half price. I buy $60 games for $10 or less. And because of bundle sites I pay 3-4 dollars for AAA games these days. I rarely buy from the Steam store. The trade off is that I can't resell them but when I buy a game for cheap I don't care either. If I was a moron who paid $60+ for games and then the game just sat in my library forever I'd feel stupid doing that.
