[IND] MR. BLUE 23 Jul @ 7:42am
STEAM CLIENT NOT LAUNCHED
Hello coummunity , this is the first time i am here in the chat.

My steam client is not launching properly. in task manager i can see the steam is running but in background process. i reinstalled 3times, deleted the temp files too. freshly installed but still the same issue.
i raised a ticket in the steam contact 2hrs ago, need help please.

If your ticket contains the same Informations as your post then you are missing stuff people/support would need to know to even begin helping you.

mine does that sometimes on Windows 10 so i just kill the process in task manager and relaunch, probably a compatibility issue? what OS and specs do you have

steam client and the one game i play bloodstrike works to perfection on LinuxMint OS using proton experimental and amd rx6600xt gpu and amd cpu 6 core / 12 thread.

AMD R 3200G ,RX6600, 16 GB RAM, Windows 11 Pro 24H2

2 threads? Anyway, what game? It's a specific error, usually with a specific cause.

2 threads? Anyway, what game? It's a specific error, usually with a specific cause.
its actually a 4 Cores 4 Threads and up to 4GHz processor .
not any game..
the issue is with the steam client software. whenever i try to run
it shows its updating popup and then it disappears. but in task manager it shows the steam is running in background ( no presence of steam is display and in system tray)

Open up the folder where Steam is installed, and delete any files, then reinstall steam normally. That should be your first starting point.
