You can play those same games on PC using a controller, which is what most people do.
Aim assist also tracks better with higher fps.
Nintendo has been doing it for a decade.
Microsoft just announced no more consoles, and their next iteration is a mobile system in partnership with ASUS.
Sony might have another console in the future, but their next effort is a new PSP iteration in partnership with Valve.
Valve is making a "console" that's just a Linux PC, and more Steam Decks.
The person you responded to has been on this platform longer than you.
Are you sure about that?
from the looks of it The PC market is actually growing while the Console market is stagnating. The PC market is getting about 50% more major releases per year then consoles and growth has outpaced consoles since 2021
As of last year the PC market was 23% ($43 billion) of the market, while the total console market was 28% of the market ($51 billion) Please note that console number is split between Xbox, PS5 and switch... so in reality PC gaming is bigger then any one console, and at the end of the day that is what it should be compared to a single console.
Of course mobile gaming dominates both PC and Console gaming with a 49% market share.... but those games don't count LOL :P
I don't ever intend to buy a console.
Why do games have accessibility and quality of life features? Because it makes them less awful to play.
