Every patch Tuesday at 3PM(Pacific) my notifications start telling me about new messages from a month ago and then there's a sudden jump of 29 days to brand new ones.
I wish Valve would stop messing with the time continuum. Having it go willbly-wobbly isn't something you can rely on to tell you about anything.
Its been like this for about 5 years for me.

Looks like it is back to normal as I got a notification for your post.

The weird behaviour happened yesterday, and not on patch Tuesday.

Fun fact: Steam's "Maintenance Tuesday" is now all 8 days of the week.
At least it feels that way to me some of the time.

Well patch Tuesday I first heard of generally referred to Windows updates.

And it is bugged again. Mobile notifications are not showing up.
