do i need gst number for selling games on steam?
I'm thinking of starting a game studio start-up in India. So, do i need GST number to sell games on steam and for registering my game studio? beacuse as per my research and asking other manufacture business. They are asking to know wheather i need GSt number to sel games on steam.. can anyone plzz help me...

Jsut try it. Go ahead & list your game. If, during the process, you ever need a GST number then you need it.

Even better, ask your lawyer. The way I understand it, "GST" in India refers to a whole slab of taxes; you should ask someone who knows his way around the Indian tax system as it applies to businesses.
