SteamCMD crash while installing it
I have an Windows Server 2012R2 Server running for some Years already. SteamCMD ran without issues so far.
But since a few Days it kept crashing and didnt work anymore. I wasnt able to install or update any Game Servers.

I tried deinstalling every instance of Steam and SteamCMD on my Server and reinstalling SteamCMD. I downloaded the latest Version from the SteamCMD Website of Valve.
Sadly, this didnt help.
I also tried reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++, but this also didnt help.
I tried disabling my Firewalre while the installation was ongoing, and this also didnt help.

What i was able to find on the Internet wasnt helpful and im out of Ideas.
Did i miss something? Does anyone else has an Idea?

Nobody got an Idea? :(
Without any more detail about exactly how it's crashing, it's hard to say.

Without any extra information, my best guess would be that as a baseline Steam (both the regular Steam client and SteamCMD) expect to be running on a Windows 10 equivalent, and 2012R2 is based on Windows 8.1. A program expecting a Windows API to exist but which doesn't sounds to me like exactly the sort of thing which would cause a crash.

But that's a guess; debugging these sorts of issues on Windows isn't really my area of expertise.

The Problem is, i also have no Idea why is crashing it doest create a Crash Log sort of but i cant open it.
And the Command Window doesnt stay open for a long period.
Only thing i see is the SteamCMD opening, trying to Update/verify (i dont know as i cant read fast enough) And it closing itself instantly.
And i have Zero clue why. A year ago when i set up a lot of Servers it worked flawlessly. But for some odd reason, when i tried to install a new Game Server nothing worked. I deinstalled the SteamCMD and other things but nothing worked. It still crashes for no apparent reason. Atleast i couldnt find anything. The Internet also isnt helping. I couldnt find anything relating to my Problem. And the few things, such as, reinstalling SteamCMD, opening it as Admin, removing writing Protection and all the other usual stuff i did.

Im really out of Ideas.
Not only out of Ideas on how to fix the Problem, but also how to identify the Problem.
If you have the slightest Idea, feel free to share it with me. Im happy about every bit i can get to get it working again.
