Is PC The Best Platform?
Is PC really the best platform not only for games but for everything, and why? :csgocross:

It isn't. All the platforms have their pros and cons.
Depends on what you want from gaming, Steam has the most choice in gaming.
PC Master Race!

That depends on what you want and where you are.

I’m guessing PC has more games than Xbox and PlayStation both put together? :sticky:

To answer your question, yes. You need a PC for everyday tasks such as work, business, gaming and entertainment. Plus, it can run emulations very well. Consoles are not upgradable and only last for 5 - 8 years.
I prefer PC. But, with the insane price of components these days, I moved to console. It's not all doom and gloom. It works just fine. The hardest part for me was getting used to a controller.

That is the main reason i never bothered with consoles.. Controllers are horrible to use.

Yeah, I also appreciate when console games get the KB/M option like Diablo 4. Since I use my console on a desk.
It depends on what you need and want honestly. If you are looking for somthing more price effective then a console is usually the better route. If you want somthing that has one of the largest library of games ever you get a PC. If you want to play the trash you get a Nintendo Switch 2. A PC that is decent is gonna run you at minimum a grand (thats the least I would spend) and as games are produced they can be made for specs that you don't have forcing you to update your PC components, while for a console the games have to be made for that console so they will always function for it. I have both a PC and a Xbox, because I use my PC when I'm deep in a game and the Xbox when I wanna sit in my bed and game or watch anime. PC is also has the ability to mod your games on a wider spectrum then what you can on a console. Just my 2 cent.

Yes. As a whole, you get more bang for the buck in terms of power, versatility, and usability with a PC over any other platform or form factor.

You can get a laptop with which to do anything pretty much anywhere you want, and get it for less than a grand. You can play games or watch movies on a high def TV in your living room with it. Or you can create a work of art or write a best selling novel while sitting on the beach. You can trade stock and make million dollar deals while flying over Miami.

Nothing else compares.
Only for people that know what they're doing with a PC.

Consoles are easier to use, but have less options.
