Is gaming with Steam on Linux basically reached parity w/ Windows?
I have 2 rigs.

The older one is on 4600K/970, and since I havent used it for a long time, I've been using it to test gaming on Linux(Mint).

And ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥... there's no difference!

And I'm using an OS that I dont have to pay!

I think suggesting a Linux-only(no dual boot) build for PC gamers who only play on Steam at least is pretty much a viable option nowadays. Why isnt this being talked more?

Heh. there is still a couple rough edges to solve before I'd blanket recommend Linux to everyone. But, it's currently going in the right direction.

Happy OpenSuse user here.

no it has not, as that would need developers to make native Linux versions of the games, and not just using an emulator.

If performance remains the same whether its emulated or not, I think it's a good compromise. October isnt that far off, & I plan to go Windows free by next year.
