Nah kf3 is not good unfortunately

I'd highly recommend trying out Dead Island 2. The hub says there are seven hundred online. It is a very deep game, with multiple enemy types, and multiple character builds. Along with perhaps the best writing and setting, and to further enhance your experience. There is an actual loot game with this one. It's just one of those plain fun games.

Fast Paced guns and gore? Definitely second Left 4 Dead.
Project Zomboid is a very tinkerable sandbox that can cater to many playstyles, with a ridiculous number of mods. I'd say it's worth checking out to form your own opinion on.

Most co-op games have players waiting to play, making a quick post on the forums for that particular game usually gets other players interested and you can soon form a team

Left 4 Dead, Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2 Episode 1, Half-Life 2 Episode 2, Half-Life: Alyx, and Days Gone are my favorite zombie games. All are single player except Left 4 Dead though.
