There are already different payment methods available.

Collective shi <hi mods...> shout were a convenient tool, they have already been run back to their hole.

Steam cards and wallet codes still exist. Valve just needs to get those into more stores.

If they’re making a move we aren’t going to know about it until it’s at the stage where nobody can counter it.

Or at least they probably should do it that way. Not the Epic vs Apple way; very cool but very expensive.
