Yeah, those companies are crap and they produce crap. I haven't bought any of their games in years. People are very slowly catching on that they're not worth it. But it's not our place to just tell people not to buy their products. Let them figure it out on their own.
Many people are just too dumb to understand that......
That's nice, except I never told you that you shouldn't make this thread. I answered the question you posed about why people would buy these games.
Instead of telling them not to best to frame the problem in a way that makes them “figure it out on their own” faster.
Although most people aren’t very good at persuading others, at least not in the way they intend.
That's exactly why I waited for Conan Exiles to be discounted to 3.99
I had a blast playing for a couple of months and what happens further, I don't care.
As Robert De Niro said in "Ronin": Good things come to those wo wait.
For the most part, yeah. Bad reviews will yield good results in this regard, but also showing good alternatives is another. If people found another CoD type game that was cheaper and better quality, I've no doubt that a lot more people would move away from the expensive and low quality ones.
Purchaser choice.
i dont care what launcher its on or who made it
That's the natural life cycle of all multiplayer games. The servers will at some point be shut down. Some games might have community servers or peer to peer hosting, but for the most part, they're gone once the servers close.
It's not just EA and Ubisoft, it's all of them. Most MMOs of the past are gone too for example.
Seriously if you're worried about that sorta studff DON'T BUY ALWAYS ONLINE GAMES.
