Steam won't upload profile avatars

Can you use the ones that are from Steam? (all the images that pop up from Steam when you go to change your avatar) and does it tell you why it isn't working? or does it seem like you changed it but when you check, it didn't?

Gotta be as detailed as you can be when it comes to issues.

Yes, I can use the "default" steam avatars provided by game developers. They work just fine. But anything I personally upload does not work at all.

There is no error. They simply just don't load. I've even waited up to 1 hour and it still didn't upload when I refresh my profile.

Did you check that the files got the right format? Like png etc snd the correct size? Do you press save at the end?
If its still not working open up a support ticket

Steam resizes the images automatically. They just have to be larger than 184x184, which they are. There's nothing wrong with the image. The image is accepted by Steam. It just won't actually update once I press "save".
