Im gonna say it now that bolt graphics is going to stomp a mud hole in nvidia
Save this thread for the future.:steamsalty:

Also for those unaware Bolt graphics is already securing developer support. gamers will finaly be able to take full advantage of path tracing without harming performance.

I want to claify that i know its a long shot and im making a gamble because i thought it would be fun if it turns out im right.

it doesnt matter, when you go to comment in the future, they are just going to lock the whole discussion for no reason

Bait company, not able to produce any real time results on any software, just in rendering a single flat scene.

There's a reason why top tech is so skeptical, because no proof is shown.

Guess we'll be back here after AMD, Nvidia, or Intel buy them out.

Bolt graphics is securing developer support. if theres nothing to see here then why is that happening.

developers get to see what we do not.

you think developers are going to support a new platform without being seriously impressed.

also bolt graphics doesnt have name recognition like intel wich means bolt had to leave a serious mark to get adoption.

the fact that a new start up can get this much developer support should terrify nvidia.

games use rasterization heavily. bolt has claims about ray tracing workloads. are the developers you're talking about game developers or just workstation/productivity developers? does the fact that some developer said "ok cool, show us" mean bolt is actually capable of showing them?

bolt graphics said their primary focus is gaming.

we havent seen what they can do but the developers have and this isnt like intel that doesnt have name recognition.

bolt had to really pull off something truly groundbreaking to get developer support this quickly.

They've been securing support for years.

That's a misnomer since they don't need support, they have to make their own drivers.

All evidence they have shown is a graph from micro benchmarks of a single non moving scene, not in real time.

They can make as many claims as they want, but until they can provide actual real time evidence, even a demo, no one in their right mind will believe it.

it takes time to challenge a deeply entrenched ecosystem, just ask intel lol and they are going to finaly come out with gpus late 2026 or early 2027.

its like you expect them to have a fully fleshed out product in 2 years when nvidia and amd have
been doing this for decades.

it takes alot of time to start from scratch when everyone else has experience. i mean if its taking 10+ years to release a product thats probably why lol.

thats why they list workstation tasks first on their website, right?

what developers have seen what and support what?

That's a very poor excuse. Intel stepped into the market no issues, because they've a real product.

And yet you've made it seem like they've got the technology ready to go and gamers are going to have better options for graphics cards and improved performance.

A new company that has proven nothing and is "securing developer support" is many years away from a viable product, let alone a marketable and saleable one.
