Steam Rom Manager taking screenshots?

Has anyone figured out how to take screenshots of games that are added by steam rom manager? I know that screenshots of non-steam games can work but when I tried to play a game added by SRM, I pressed F12, I heard the screenshot sound but after there were no screenshots actually taken. This was in win 11.

If the screenshot is not taken by steam it might be in the screenshot folder of win11 under pictures

So I found the screenshots in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<myid>\760\remote\15922912902818824192\screenshots. So at least steam is taking the screenshots but I wish they would populate in the view -> screenshot window so we could upload them.

It’s been a while since I’ve tested this method, so if you try it, let me know how it works for you.

Screenshots for SRM games are working now! It turns out my steam screenshot manager was broken/corrupted because i tried to take a screenshot of a steam game and it still didn't show up in the steam screenshot and recording window. So I deleted the screenshots.vdf and this lead to steam rebuilding my screenshot database and it correctly shows my SRM games screenshots and even let me share them on steam.

Ok I did some more investigation. It seems that when you use SRM and you save games to steam with SRM thats what breaks the screenshot manager. And also be careful since if you have screenshots associated with a certain game and if you re-add the game with SRM it breaks the association because I think it assigns another ID to it. The screenshot will still be on your account but its not linked to that game anymore.

Ok so it seems parsing actually doesn't break AppID luckily. I had to wait for the screenshot manager to rebuild and my screenshots got reassociated. But parsing still breaks the manager requiring you to delete screenshots.vdf to rebuild the manager.
