Download speed in Megabits instead of Megabytes ?!
Reinstalled system clean ditching my old Steam folder that I used to recycle and now my download speeds are in Megabits instead of Megabytes. Can't find any settings for this and all the old stuff online claims there is setting in Downloads even though there is none. Why was this added and then changed and removed? I hate megabits because they don't really tell me anything useful and I need to then convert roughly to know how fast that is in MB/s.

Steam -> Settings -> Downloads -> Turn off "Display download rates in bits per second"

Reinstalling Steam clears most client preferences.

I swear this setting wasn't there and I looked that page several times. I open it now and it's there. I did OS reinstall in between. Sigh.
