Steam Client Being Slow/Not Responding?

I've noticed for the past month now, that the steam client has been running very sluggish? I try and click on my steam library and i click on a game i want to play, but it takes awhile for it to load the play button. When i click it, it does this odd "Steam not responding" and then it eventually loads after 15 seconds after i clicked play?

Even making this post, it took a few seconds to load to type? I don't know if this is a system problem or a steam update? I've done all my driver checks, just bought a brand new 3060 NVIDIA graphics card. My CPU is a AMD Ryzen 7 2700x eight core.

me too, don't know if it's true or not but my guess it is because of newest win update KB5063878 ( I got the update on august 13th and my steam client become sluggish since that day ), just now I rollback / uninstall that update

after 1 hour, turns out the issue is not resolve

still slow response when open pages / posting / emote tab ( 1-3 seconds delay )

next I will try steam beta build

ouch! not good.

yeah, I don't know what is the main source of the issue ( definitely not my internet because the issue is only on steam client app and the download speed is fine )

I think I will try to clear download cache

still the same after clear download cache in the settings

now I try changing my ISP ( I have / use 2 ISP in my house ), we will see.

okay, after I changed the ISP cable, it was responsive and snappy, no 1-3 delays after I clicked new page , posting , or open emote tab

and also, there was an 500MB update from steam too.

now I switched back to my main ISP.

okay, I think my issue is my main ISP lol , as soon as I clicked save changes, it had 3 seconds delays, lol.

so, I give up because one of my ISP is acting up, even though it is annoying to wait 1-3+ seconds of delay, at least it's not affecting my download speed and other stuff outside of steam client app.
