Steam moderation is horse-fart
(WARNING ⚠️🪖🪖: VALVE, I KNOW YOU GUYS ARE ALL HIGH ON YOUR HORSES WHEN ANYBODY SAYS ANYTHING, SO THIS HAS NO OFFENSE TO VALVE, JUST THE SH*T MODERATION)

I swear, on some things on steam I post in, sometimes it's filled to the brim with bait and trolls. Now I'm okay with a few trolls, but one literally said "ENJOY THE COMMUNITY BAN" and spam reported me into a ban, and they literally reported me for a parody about gaybait, while we have actual bots spamming "WE NEED (game here) GAY REPERSENTATION, (characters here) SHOULD HAVE GAY SE-" and there's also trolls in the steam game subreddits (eg. Coffeefox98) that spam ragebait and bigoted stuff and report anybody that says anything against the ragebait, meanwhile they are spewing whatever bait-y slop, and now half the people in subreddits here are banned cause some trolls just have the ability to use their stupid "AUTO SPAM TOTALLY WORKING SPAM REPORTER FOR STEAM" or whatever to get anybody they like banned if they don't have completely matching opinions.

I have never been issued a warning, before being banned for the most petty of infractions.
Again, I understand a constitution-like system where you cant say stuff, but we know how the constitution works in the real world... and it ends up with unfairness, and again, someone can just add "*" or "-" or numbers in the middle of their text, or use steam symbols to pass you guy's sh*t moderation, but when someone says "Well you called me a bad word so f-ck you" then the dumb moderation gets the defender, not the attacker. And also spam reporting works 12/10 times for some reason, so people use the report button almost like a duel where you gotta spam it first or get banned, so now half of everyone is banned.

Yeah, alts. Interesting. I wonder by how much the steam population stats are inflated by alt accounts. Probably by millions.

I mean, this seem like a correct ban. And tou can't be mass reported into a ban. If you could, everyone would be perma-banned...

And yet you ignore the fact that you don't have to be here to deal with it.

It's on YOU pal ... not Steam.
I don't think I've ever reporting anyone on the forums in 21 years. Not trying to toot my own horn or anything - just thought, weird eh.. 21 years..

I feel your pain. Maybe there's a few 'old hats' round here and maybe they somewhat influence moderator calls.. I dunno..

I'm been trying to leave, for a long hiatus, but they just keep reeling me back in (not you though) LOL..

That does sound like a crappy thing to do, to rub a ban in on you, preemptively..

Really, it's like some kind of infestation of sorts - to be light-hearted and lyrical..

They kind of said that to me:

"Please also note that the length of time is based on whether or not you've had content removed in the past. Players who repeatedly have content removed may increase ban length with additional infractions and may also risk losing the ability to use the Steam Community."

If you read my post history, there is nothing there but stupid banter about video games and a few even stupider, charged political comments. Far from offensive, except to maybe the most thin skinned of troll-blemakers.

I think the moderators are a combination of AI and "human" moderation, and it's just easier to copy/paste a reply to a ban complaint than it is to un-ban.

bro... do you know who lenny face guy and coffeefox98 were on tf2 forum, I think they got perma banned but they spammed ragebait and called people obscene things, and when anyone said anything back they got auto spammed with reports and got banned in literally half a minute.

I sincerely doubt that, because Valve's mods need sometimes a few hours to respond. And as I said, if that worked, everyone would spam everyone with reports and everyone would be banned by now.

And at what point it states "amount of reports"? It states, that they take reports into consideration. This paragraph proves me right, not wrong.

Those are semantics you're arguing about there. It's obvious? Why do you even care?

Honestly, I can't care less. My emotions are vented. If you want to glaze the valve moderators, that's your prerogative.

Because what you say is a clear misinformation. What I said is correct and further proven by the quote you provided.
