Valve are not the ones pricing the games.

Devs/pubs set the prices, not even around Valve's suggested prices.

1 Polish zloty is equal to 0.25 USD or 0.23 Euro.
It's not the prices set by the devs that the problem, it's the value of the Polish currency that is.
Improve your economy if you want better pricing.
It doesn't matter how important you think your currency is, it is not worth as much as you think it is outside your country.

This, and you can also thank the EU for their decision to regulate pricing across member nations.

By that logic, Swiss customers should pay less, yet they don't.

People on the internet making up ♥♥♥♥? No way.

Then go complain to the devs.
Complaining on Steam does absolutely nothing.
Steam does not set the prices.
Steam is a storefront acting as a third party seller.
The devs set the price.

I just find it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ funny how you were so certain of what you said, despite being completely wrong.

I am certain. And I'm correct.
People refusing to accept that their currency isn't as valuable as the think, isn't mine or Steam's problem.
Steam can suggest prices but the devs always have final say.

The main problem is steam last updated their suggested pricing when Poland's currency was at a all time low back on October 2022 of around .20 value to USD.

Since then it has recovered to around it's previous value of .25 to USD and most game devs rely on steam pricing suggestions and not it's current value,

Until steam updates their suggestions this is something very few game devs will adjust on their own although a few have done it and made announcements about it when the community informed them.

Woah, so many Valves apologists in this theard, yet the have no clue how Steam suggested prices work.

How come many countries with much worse economy have much better prices?

Seems like you are the one not having a clue...

Steam suggest a price. Devs/pubs do whatever they want with this suggestion.

Yet Valve can lower and adjust suggested pricing, because that is what most developers base their prices on. They choose not to do so, because who cares anyway, gamers will pay premium price for no reason.

I just proved you are incorrect.

At this point you are just unable to take the L.

I know steam fans don't want to hear this..... but if money is tight, the best option is to shop around to find the cheapest prices possible.

If your after a game that badly, look around different sites, different clients such as Origin, epic, ubisoft and so on and if the game is still costs to much, then take a look at other game sellers such as GAME, Greenman gaming, Amazon etc. Even if the retail CD key is for Origin but you save £10, a saving is a saving. Being loyal to a brand, a company, a business will only cost you in the long run. I personally learned that a long time ago.
