what Happened to my account?

I created an account years ago, purchased a few games, and then it was about a year later i was unable to login, it didn't recognize my login info, i created numerous support tickets, non of which were ever answered, frustrated i swore off steam. i finally decided to let it go and created a new account. I Created the new account with the exact same info and user name and password as before and it accepted it WTH? and still all my games are gone. Now i can't even create a new ticket, i just kept getting sent from one page to another in an endless loop? Can anyone help?

There is no way your account log in name is exactly the same as the last account.

Do that to get the other account back.

You need to figure out what the actual username was on the other account.

it is absolutely the same account name my friends still have my info in there clients, i created the same exact username under the same e-mail address and all my games are gone

If you mistyped the password enough for tthe original account, Steam may lock log in attempts for a certain length of time. Conttact support, make sure you have a game manual with the CD key as proof of ownership.

profile name is not your login name, i can copy your name right now. the name you use to sign in, is the one you need to figure out.

Iv'e already been to that link, all i get is an endless loop of links sending me back and forth to the same pages.

How long did you wait? And do you still have access to the e-mail account associated with the previous account or support tickets?

i know this, i have a log book to keep all my info organized, it's the same, my original account somehow got deleted completely, how else do you explain not getting any responses to my tickets?

I'm still waiting, i only have 1 e-mail account so yes it is exactly the same, it's been over a year since i filled out the tickets, there was maybe 3 or 4 i filled out a few weeks apart, never got a response.

Are you physically logging in to check on the tickets, or waiting for a response via e-mail? If at all humanly possible, physicallyl og in tto the support site to check up on stuff, several times a day. youu may nott be getting e-mail notifications.

after a few months and no response i searched everywhere for a phone number to call steam, nothing, i even called the local operator where they are located, nothing. I have all the info to prove who i am but no way to contact steam so recover my games.

no, i couldn't login, it did not recognize any of my login info, reset password function did not send me any e-mails, it was like i ceased to exist.
