But I did not get lucky with them. The first answer asked me to re-install Steam client properly, which I don't need because the issue also occurs on Steam website with Chrome. The second answer was to tell me that they don't fix issue for Steam Workshop items and that I have to contact the authors directly...
I can link more than 40 items that I cannot add to my Collection from the "Add to collection" button, but ok. At this point, I'm not sure if I should insist with the support.
Nonetheless, you should still report it. Everyone needs to report any issue with the Steam client. They apparently need to see it as a problem affecting many people, not just one person, before they will take ownership and fix it at their end.
- click on Support in the top bar menu
then the rest is up to you; I chosen that path:
- steam community
- i need help with something not listed here
- contact steam support
if they close it unresolved... I'd do it again and tell them how they are adding to your aggravation :)
I think it depends how many assets and mods one has... possible over 1000 creates an issue:
when you edit any collection and you got to the tab: subscribed item (or any as for that matter but i don't use "favourite" option as it's useless) - the items there are listed alphabetically so when you scroll to the very bottom... does it go to the very last asset ? or does the list stop somewhere in the middle of your assets list? say on letter X or O or even worse, H? :)
If you are the owner of the file in question then unlisted shouldn't be an issue.
