Cant accept trade!
if i try all i get is
"ACCEPT TRADE
There was an error accepting this trade offer. Please try again later. (25)"
And attempting to accept on my phone or browser (which has been logged in for way over a week) all i get from them is
"ACCEPT TRADE
There was an error accepting this trade offer. Please try again later.
You have logged in from a new device. In order to protect the items in your inventory, you will be unable to trade from this device for 7 days."
EDIT: apparently there is an online link to a page with all steam error codes and what they mean, turns out my ig backpack was full

Check your history.
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/my/tradeoffers/

There is a bug on mobile app, which may bring up error for like confirming selling on market, or trades. So just check your history this way you know for sure if it gone though for trade.

For getting message saying you logged in from a new device, that means you login from a new device it doesn't recognize.
https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=1047-edfm-2932#newdevice

Worst case if you by chance login on a 3rd party website that you thought it was steam, because this is a popular scam thing scammers do is trick people into using their phishing site, to trick you into trading your items. If you see something off here, then you know for sure what going on.
https://steamhost.cn/help_steampowered_com/en/accountdata/SteamLoginHistory
Can find this by Steam help page > My account > Data related to my account > Recent Login History.

If you did see someone login on your account, or magically your display name, display picture, and profile bio change saying ban, or telling you to do something then it's a scam as well because the person on the account trying to get you to trade the items off the account to them, waiting on you to confirm the trade.

If you did have someone on your account you follow these steps, and don't skip any.
1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Deauthorize all other devices https://steamhost.cn/twofactor/manage
3. Change passwords from a clean computer
4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://steamhost.cn/twofactor/manage
5. Revoke the API key https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

Most common reason people get accounts hijack for any service really are as followed.
- Sharing account infomation with others. <--- Very common with impersonators, pretending to be Steam admin / support.
- Logging in on phishing sites. <--- Very common with skin gambling sites.
- Downloading / Installing Virus / Keylogger on your system.
- Using public devices that has keyloggers, such as cyber cafe, school computers, and etc...
- Storing your login credentials on a unsecured service that others has access to view.
- Using same login credentials for all your things, or using same login credentials on another service that had a data leak. Yes it does matter because even if it not related to Steam, if using same login credentials, hijackers will try to use those credentials to see what services you use with those credentials. https://haveibeenpwned.com/

all 3rd party sites are USE AT OWN RISK. if you have any issues using a 3rd party site, you need to take it up with that sites support.

should you get scammed by a 3rd party site or a bot account impersonating a 3rd party sites account, you are on your own. steam support will not returned scammed/stolen items report the accounts involved and move on.

next time you have questions, please check the dates on the thread you post in. this thread has been dead for over 4 years. easier to make your own thread to keep the discussion focused on your issue.

Did you really trade all your stuff for nothing in return?

Never trade for promises!

What trades should I avoid?

Do not trade for anything that cannot be added into the trade offer itself. The most common examples of these scenarios are the following:
  • Trading items/gifts for money outside of the Steam Community market. You cannot add Wallet credit, PayPal, gift cards or any form of money into the trade offer.
  • Trading items/gifts for CD Keys. You cannot add a CD Key into the trade offer. CD Keys that are offered can be for a different game, fake, used or region restricted.
  • Trading items/gifts for nothing in return in the first trade and expecting to get an item or gift in a later trade. There is no reason to not trade everything in one trade. You may add unlimited items/gifts to a single trade. A common example of this is using a middleman to facilitate a one sided trade.
