what if steam shutdown in the future ?
Hello i love steam and the sales i use it for years already maybe 10 years or more. But i whas thinking what if shuts down what not will happen. Because this is the future. What will happen to our games ?

They'd probs release a series of patches that would allow you to play the games offline without the Steam client or they'd be bought out by a parent company to continue the online service but it's highly unlikely Valve/Steam will go bust as long as PC gaming stays a popular hobby/sport. No one knows what the future holds though :nyancat:

If the service is popular but Valve goes bankrupt: someone else will buy and run it.
If the service is no longer popular: majority of us will not care it shuts down and takes the games with it.
