No mods from the workshop are being applied to any game...
So, i haven't played much on my steam account in a few months, been playing other games... but none of my games that use mods from the Workshop are loading any mods. they aren't showing up in the in-game mod list. going back to the workshop section it says i'm subscribed to them.

this is for multiple games: Brotato, Timberborn, Etc.

every single game is like this.

Do those games have settings within the game for the mods? For example left 4 dead 2 has an add-ons option where even though someone is subscribed to a mod, they can disable it within the game. Another would be cities skylines.

i don't think so... but they aren't even showing up in the mod list in-game... i do not remember if there are toggles for them in-game, though.

also. they all disappeared on both PC and steam deck simultaneously. i just didn't notice because i was playing games without workshop support at the time.

you must subscribe-add the mod you want in the gameslist in the workshop

i did that. like i said, all mods on every single game just stopped working all at once. when you look at the mod list In-Game, they are all gone, but they are subscribed-added in the workshop.

i've uninstalled/reinstalled the game, the mods, everything. only thing i haven't done is nuked my pc from orbit....

the other thing is, the exact same thing happened on my steamdeck at the exact same time.
You ever figure that out? My workshop mods on my PC aren't syncing with the ones on my steamdeck for the same game (project zomboid) and so I still have and older modlist but updating the list by unsubscribing or subscribing to new mods doesn't affect the list on PC. It does however affect the list on steamdeck...
If anybody is still having this issue and sees this, for me it was because on steam it was put at the back of the update list. I had other games start updating while I was playing timberborn, and when I subscribed to the mods they were pushed back by the other games. you can either wait, or change the order of updates

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
