Failed to load steamui.dll
So it first started when all of the games I would download would end in 'disk write error'. I tried logging out and logging in Steam. Same thing would happen.

So I thought about uninstalling and reinstalling Steam. Well when I did, I would click on Steam. It would load, say it's updating. Then it would hit me with a 'Failed to load steamui.dll' pop-up.

Now I tried a number of different things. The first one, im told to delete steamui.dll from the steam file, but it's not in the file.

Second method, I did check the compatibity mode to Window 8 when you right click on the icon and go to properties but it still give me the same 'Failed to loadsteamui.dll" pop up.

The third method said to go to in the local app data and delete the Steam folder, but there was no Steam folder to delete.

Does anybody have any ideas on what I need to do? Please and thank you

What did you do to fix the issue you were having?
Aida 2 Jul @ 7:17pm
This is what fixed it for me after A: backing up my steam files from when they were still good, B: uninstalling steam, and C: reinstalling steam, only to find out it would no longer let me log in due to this error.
1: Create a shortcut to steam on your desktop, right click it, click Properties, and after "Target:" add this to the end, including a space at the very beginning of this string of text:
no-cef-sandbox -nochatui -nofriendsui
2: Launch steam through the shortcut. It should still fail, but also generate some new files in the process, some of which are wanted, others unwanted. Go to your steam folder and delete the "bin" and "package" folders, as well as the "tier0_s.dll" and "tier0_s64.dll" files.
3: Copy and paste these folders from your backup into your steam folder: "bin", "package", and "steamui".
4: Launch steam and log in!
I hope this helps.
