I get that message when trying to access my inventory or anyone else's for that matter. What gives?

I wonder what's up? Steam has been acting weird lately....
Has anyone contacted steam? What did they say?
Steam support sucks, especially on responce time. Its better to wait till they fix it than waiting for responce.

Contact Steam Support. If enough of us do, maybe they'll fix it.....
I have the same problem since a few weeks, it`s awful. I can`t open my inventory today for 7 hours now. Have restarted several times...
same, ppl say its my ISP, but now i see there are multiple posts so i assume its just Valve...

Valve has a IP rate limit, and most ISP's issue IPv4's to more then 1 customer now. So there could be 100's of other people with your IP.

One of those people could be botting the market or maybe a lot of those people just use Steam and the market.

Either way if enough requests come from the same IP it will trigger the IP rate limit.
I had that issue a few weeks ago, sounds maybe stupid but try to restart your router/wlan this helped for me

this usually won't help with connections that use CGNAT/DSLite because it's the route aggregator that usually gets the IPv4 address so it's likely going to stay the same.
