i need help
ive been accused of scamming others while someone was impersonating my account and i asked one of the fellows in a community that has a bounty for scammers that tells the community to report them, to remove my ACTUAL account, then someone claimed they were steam staff and they are needing my items to see if they are from scamming (obv none of them are from scamming i got my stuff from drops, scrap.tf, and marketplace) and said sure (im extremely stupid) and gave him the tradable items and he said that the items are ok and i need to give him $20 steamwallet and me being broke cant get that so he has my items held hostage, is this normal for yall if not please help me god i wanna play tf2 again with my hardearned items :steamsad:

are you really asking if you should give him the 20 or not ?! it's an obvious scam.
no obv i shouldnt but what do i do ive report him and told steam support a bunch and nothing or noone has done a thing
Your items are gone forever and if you give them 20 dollars you will just be down 20 dollars AND still not have your items back.

It was a scam and it sounds like you fell for it. If you gave someone else all your items, then they're lost.

Follow steps 1-6 to secure your account:

1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices https://steamhost.cn/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a trusted/clean device.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://steamhost.cn/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

steam support won't be able to get your items back, that you gave away. by the time i'm writing this your items probably got moved to another account and got sold, there is nothing you can do except reporting this account which will do nothing in my opinion.
