Cannot add payment method to Steam
I am attempting to add a payment method to my account and I keep receiving an error that I am unable to do so. I also cannot add a payment method upon checkout.

I get the following error message when attempting a purchase or adding funds:

"An unexpected error has occurred. Your purchase has not been completed.
Please wait a few minutes and try again.
If you encounter this error repeatedly, please contact Steam Support."

This has happened for the past few days and I've gotten nowhere towards fixing it. My payment details are accurate, I have turned off my VPN and cleared my cookies, I have tried both the (up-to-date) client and multiple browsers, I have tried multiple cards. Nothing has worked so far.

I already contacted Steam Support and have gotten no reply.

Yes, been a couple of days since submitting.

Just figured out a workaround:

Literally the only thing I did was to download the mobile app and input my payment method there instead of on a computer. I'm really not sure what the difference was, but that was a headache.
Steam support takes sometime to figure it out too..
