Account disconnection
Hello, good afternoon.

A few years ago, I connected my current Steam account to my old EpicGames account, which I no longer have access to. Now, I want to connect my Steam account to my current EpicGames account to transfer some items between Rocket League and EpicGames. How do I disconnect my Steam account from my old EpicGames account? (I don't want to sell or buy the account.)

Through Epic Games. The linking is done on their end.

Yes, but I don't have access to that Epic account.

I've tried over and over again, but I can't, because I lost this account a long time ago, when I was a child, that is, I don't remember almost anything related to it, so Epic can't confirm that this account was really mine.

Have to contact Epic support to recover your lost epic account, they can be very difficult as some of them don't want to do their job, or want to trust you for whatever reason which I assume this is a freebie account. All can do is keep repeatedly trying until get someone at support that willing to help you.

Anyway, could try asking them to unlink your Steam account, and hopefully they might do it.

Rule of thumb get password manager to save your stuff so don't forget, or lose stuff anymore.
