Greetings, I have a question. Do physical Steam cards work internationally? I ask the question because in 2018 a friend from Mexico gave me a 100 pesos ($10) card and with that I managed to unblock my account, i'm from Venezuela. Right now a friend from Puerto Rico is evaluating the possibilities of buying me a $100 Steam gift card and wanted to know if it could be claimed normally like I did with that mexican pesos gift card. There won't be any problem with that?

They are currency locked to your store region.

Right now my region is in the United States for reasons I'm uncomfortable explaining (I'm just coming out of a blockade), so being from Puerto Rico, it would work, right?

If it is a Steam digital giftcard sent via steam it will auto change to your currency.

The currency used in the Venezuelan Steam region is the dollar, but right now my account is in the United States region. Can cards from Puerto Rico work? Since Puerto Rico is part of the United States.
