your account is compromised
DO NOT TRADE
If you have access to the account

Steps to take NOW to secure the account:
1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Deauthorize all other devices https://steamhost.cn/twofactor/manage
3. Change passwords from a clean computer
4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://steamhost.cn/twofactor/manage
5. Revoke the API key https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)
6. If points were stolen, do a password RESET to cancel the awards/points before they are delivered

Please review how you are logging into Steam or handling your log in information. You somehow gave them your log in information. This could of been due to the computer being compromised and redirecting to a fake login, or you using a 3rd party site to login to steam.

After you have secured the account, please edit your profile back to normal by hitting the EDIT PROFILE button if it was altered by the hijacker/scammer. Report any accounts involved if possible.

Steam support does not post messages on your profile, they don't give out warnings about pending bans, they dont give time to move stuff, they wont tell you to move stuff. Someone has enough access to the account to make changes to the profile. If you try to move any items, the trade will get cancelled and a new one created sending the items to the scammers accounts.

They do not change your name/avatar unless it violates the rules (advertising, inappropriate language, etc). Such a change would only reset it to the default settings (your steam ID for the name, the default ? avatar for the avatar). This would include an account alert that you have to click a box that says "I have read this"

You fell for the faceit scam, that is how they gained access to your account via fake faceit link that you signed into.
There is no such thing as having to set up trades to verify account activity....
Once they gained access to your account, all they needed was for you to set up a trade, so they could cancel it and redirect it to a fake account so you would approve it.

Do the following steps to secure your account:

1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices https://steamhost.cn/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a trusted/clean device.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://steamhost.cn/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

Unfortunately your items are long gone, Steam do not return or refund items once they have left your account...

You can only wait, if items were traded, they are lost forever.

Thanks a lot for your help! I didn’t send anything to that account. I sent it to my girlfriend. The malvare or whatever that thing messed up everything. Isn’t that hacking? Don’t we have nothing to do?

It happened 6 hours ago. Should be in trade ban for a week. Anything we can do?

There's nothing to investigate as this exact scam method is years old by now.

What you need to do next is to learn from this mistake.
First, grow some common sense. Why in the hell would you want to send items just because some dude you don't know, like, at all, tells you so?
Second, you have to learn about phishing. The most common vector how "they" get into your account in the first place is phishing. So educate yourself about phishing.

Common sense & awareness of phishing are the 2 things you need to keep your Steam account secure. Also, other (online) accounts as well. Common sense is an incredibly powerful weapon!

Well, if you did all the steps above your account should be fine and you can report the scammers profile, but that's about it.

Lost items can't be restored. If you sent them to the wrong profile, they are gone.

You’re right. But as you can guess conversations didn’t went that way. We were going to play the game. I didn’t even have chance to be online since last 2 years because of my job. It’s my mistake to trust people on me. I thought that’s the rutine. The part I sent the item to my girlfriend is I would not hesitate because I trust my everything to her. Never guessed even tho I send a trade request from her profile I had no idea with those kind of malwares. Its kind of cruel to be honest

It's not malware, it's phishing. The reason why I'm emphasizing this is that you need to educate yourself on phishing. Knowledge is power!

And yeah, it most certainly is anti-social. Be glad you only lost your Steam items to anti-social ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (others have lost their mental or physical health to anti-social ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥).

Thanks a lot man, I know it’s mostly likely items are gone but in this sauce is there anything we can do? Like getting them punished/banned or idk is there anything?

You can report the profile(s) involved. And since I can't emphasize that enough, you can learn from that experience so it won't happen in future (because anti-social ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ certainly won't stop being anti-social).

Even the part they changed the profile picture to my girlfriend’s profile picture and canceled the original request but put their request should be enough for proof.

What could be the outcome? If they going the get e-mail of ‘ don’t do it again’ it’s not even worth to try wondering what it could happen
