May be moving countries, any thing important I should know?
May be moving in the foreseeable future to a region very different from my own, so curious about how I should handle things on the steam side of stuff.

Does Steam automatically update store prices, currencies ect when it detects I'm somewhere else? If not, can I keep my steam set as North America with out issues? If the local banks there use Visa/Master cards, I assume I can use them as normal and currency conversions are done automatically?

I use a VPN to get around Geoblocking in other platforms, is this going to cause problems with Steam if I use it to play games that may be blocked in my new location? I know using a VPN to purchase games for a cheaper price is against TOS, but I'm not sure on the policy regarding simply having a VPN on while using Steam. Matter of fact, I'm not really sure how Steam reacts to a VPN being in use, I've never really used Steam and the VPN at the same time, aside from just passively being logged in while I turn it off and on as needed.

Beyond what I asked, is there anything else important I should know to protect my Steam account? Don't wanna get suddenly banned over some Eldrich TOS clause that I have never been in a position to even interact with.

What if I move and want to change my store country to the new location?

If you have moved to a new place, or are living abroad for an extended period of time, you can update your Steam country setting when you complete your first purchase using a payment method from that country. If your location differs from your current Steam account store country setting you'll have an option to change your store country while you view your cart or as you complete your purchase. You will only have the option to change your store country once every 3 months.

Do not use VPN to circumvent region restrictions.
