Computer Storage
Recently, I bought a few games to play, and I'm worried that my computer will soon run out of space. I have 50 GB left and about 56 GB of downloadable content in my library. Can I uninstall games that I have already downloaded on my PC without losing any progress?

Not all games use cloud saving. You must do the research on your own with regards to where each game stores saves and back them up.

Do you know how I can find that out?

Use google or look up the documentation/wiki of the game.

Save locations can greatly vary between games, there's no enforced standard. Failing any documentation, one way to get it is to observe where the game's executable accesses files from using the resource monitor or similar tools.

You can use GSM to backup all your games, Steam cloud compatable or not.
