Having two installations of steam and can't figure out how to uninstall
Hello,

It seems I have two installations of steam on my computer. I have installed it on D:\Program files\Steam, but it seems like the company I got the computer from installed it on D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam as well. The copy the company installed won't show up on the list of installed programs on my computer, but it's there and it have other games installed (some I don't even own) that the company installed for testing I suppose... Now I want to uninstall their copy, but when I hit the uninstall button it asks if it should uninstall from D:\Program files\Steam nd I can't change that... Any ideas on what to do?

Thanks

just right click and delete the Steam folder D:\Program Files (x86)\

There' s no need to uninstall because you need the registry entries and .DLLs for your other install.

Thanks a lot! That was far easier than I hoped for
