steam overlay makes my entire pc freeze / black screen
hi since a week when i use steam overlay (shift + tab) when i play sometimes it makes my pc freeze and blackscreen and i need to reboot my pc with the button...

i have a clean windows 11 that is very recent , my driver is the most stable nvidia (572.83)

anyone knows how to makes it never happens ? i tried to disable gpu acceleration for steam web pages like other says about this problem but it doesnt help

Hi i have same problem. The problem is not in your pc. The problem with steam update. There is what helps me: Open steam settings - interface - turn off ''render web pages using graphic card''.

2nd Method: Launch Steam with the -disable-overlay-gpu-pri

I hope they will fix this critical error asap.
