I thought I was going crazy yesterday. I loved reading the update new on my library. I thought the system lagged and didn't load it.

came here looking for that too, super disappointed as it gave me meaningful updates. Literally first thing I did after starting steam was to hop into library and see recent updates

Yeah, this is a terrible change if intentional. If some people whined about it then just make it a shelf we can choose to show or not. Don't remove it entirely.

I'm also missing it and want it back. This seen to be an old problem, I found thing from 2019 asking for this. While we can click the megaphone to go news hub it's not the same, there are to many things there. In my new in the library it was better curated since I can choose to show less from a type of game.

I also agree that there should be an option to disable for those that don't want it.

same here, I like seeing the news about what's going on with my games and if there are events going on, for example getting the announcement for HALO MCC about a nameplate drop for logging in on a certain day
