Gradient shows up on steam whenever I open it.
I've been having an issue with Steams UI and I don't know how to fix it. Whenever it opens after I turn on my pc, the entire screen shows off this horizontal green, red, and yellow gradient. First I tried disabling, reenabling the hardware accelerators and restarting the pc (since I read that it helped for some people on Reddit) but it did nothing. Then I tried uninstalling steam and reinstalling it; not only did that not help but the login UI is shows the same gradient as the one in Steam's menu. I also installed the latest update for windows, reset my gpu with "windows+Lshift+Lctrl+b", uninstalled and reinstalled my gpu drivers but it all did nothing to get rid of the gradient.

Also, my pc is very old. I bought it back in 2017 as a prebuilt so it may be on its last legs. But I want to know how to get rid of this before I blow money on another pc.

Go to the device manager on your PC, then click on display adapters, then disable your GPU and enable it again. That fixed it for me
