Steam itself has not been hacked or had a data breach. It's just maintenance, nothing else.

Maintenance can take as long as they need. It could take a few minutes, hours or in worst case scenarios, days (highly unlikely).

millions of subscribers and down this long is a huge problem.. honestly if i have a platform this big and been down for more than 5 mins.. a lot of transactions will be gone.. bad reps are bad for huge companies

OP that was posted in off-topic here a month ago and only effected accounts that didn't do the Steam Guard Steam's two-factor authentication procedure
