Hello everyone,

I’m James, the creator behind Trepidation — a story-rich survival RPG set in a haunting, corrupted 1800s world where the Veil between realities is cracking. You manage a growing caravan, explore cursed lands, fight Veil-born horrors, and try to stay alive long enough to face Jack, a supernatural clown whose origin lies buried in pain and broken light.

This project has been a labor of love — we’ve got:
🎮 Core systems in place (pets, companions, base building, Veil mechanics)
📖 A rich narrative unfolding across dozens of chapters
🧠 Deep lore tied to Light, Dark, and Chaos factions
🛠️ Modular carts, Veil Words, Thin Veil Sites, and a full weather and morale system
🎨 Custom sprites, pixel art, and a creepy circus aesthetic

Now? I’m looking for someone to help tighten the screws and polish the gears. Specifically:

A balance designer or systems thinker to help fine-tune gameplay loops, pacing, and resource mechanics.

A dedicated tester (or two) to help break things, stress the systems, and give honest feedback.
