SteamOS on Desktop
Does it make sense to install SteamOS on an Nvidia-based Desktop? Or does it make no sense? Who tried it?

SteamOS primarily supports AMD based GPUs this is mostly due to Nvidias traditional driver support being kinda jank on Linux

If you want Nvidia based support then something like Bazite which gives a more HTPC experience based around Steam's BPM might be a better option than SteamOS. Note you can pretty much pick any Linux distro you want and just launch Steam in BPM mode. Bazite is just more 'Ubuntu-eaque' for GUI facing tools. And you're likely to find a bit more support for things that are gaming oriented such as integrating other launchers and such since that distro is geared towards that goal.

I'm looking at Bazzite too, it's an interesting distribution
