people with multi drev as external disk, have been seen install them 2 times, so delete one will only make other active on diffrent drev.

when you uninstall games, they don't disappear from your library

Uninstalling something only removes it from your PC, it does not remove it from the place you purchased it from.

its rare that drev get defect and actual dont do a game uninstall. ( last steam user eas several years ago, i think. )

No you dont get it. When i press uninstall. the game should go grey right?. But each time i restart steam its white again and installed.

Like as if i never uninstalled.

I'm having this problem for almost a year now. and uninstalling from PC drive does not work

I'm not trying to remove a game from my account. I'm trying to uninstall it so it appears grey/transparent. But it never uninstalls even when i do. and appears as installed in my installed-games section.

It will never uninstall

Thats why we ask,

You have OS check disk, and that take along time the bigger the drev is.


we have also seen pplk with write behind cache enable.
that mean a reboot could prevent it from delete in time.

For example when i try to uninstall Squad a game of over 43 Gigabytes. It will uninstall the game. But when i re-open steam it will show as installed again. and my drive will never be changed.

or when i check it shows non-existend but its still installed in libary on steam.

only you know if you have multi drev with steam library or external drev even.

its so rare to see drev dont do a delete game and all is back, because it never did it, or cant becuase of its table and content dont work as it should.

i opened device manager but i see nothing saying politik

find the device unit with all device windows has it at right side with section.on all units
