I thought it only happened to me

Here's the fix:

-Open the image with Paint, click "Save As", and select PNG.
-Make sure to create a duplicate of the original image when saving.
(Now you can upload that duplicate image without getting an error notice) — it worked for me!

Sometimes there was a different error uploading artwork which is "Failed to upload the file." Just try again in another time, OK?
