Steam automatically mapping Left Bumper to Left Trigger
This has been happening for a while now on multiple games where i use steam input to get a controller working, i love that it works but a lot of the time steam will decide i want left bumper mapped to left trigger, how do i stop this

I use an Xbox controller and it always seems to work just fine. With limited info its kinda hard to suggest anything. I'd look into the games its doing it on if its not every game. If its supported fully and has the options that you prefer.

Same thing has been happening to me ever since I switched to a Dualsense controller from xbox controller. It's getting really annoying to manually fix it everytime.

Never had this kind of issue myself either, BUT I also avoid "Steam Input" like the plague and only activate it for games that insist on it. XBox normally works out of the box, so no need to have Steam mess things up.
