Typicla signs on overcoweded fiber lines at ISP into steam server also why most will not help you, if you can change steam dl zone to a better one then do so.
ps.
You need to understand we have all seen this at every steam sale , now you notice the effect of it, tahst the only diffrence, also why many will not helpo you debug or falthy find on the proeblem, most go away then sale is over. and someday steam user has own issue in top of this that will happend ofc, its simple just pure logix why we point finger at overcrowed lines atm. and thats is ISP issue not a steam problem and we judge pretty hard on this with good reason.
any helper here that notice steam event sale and then alot of increased network issue with it, quite frequent common FAQ doing steam event sale, but there is no such category, we just call them that here.
ps.
Try see it as black friday maybe thats seem to most on the planet know what that is. thats is what happedn at steam sale and ISP will not expand on a tempory increased traffic.
Same as car on motorhighway you are alone on 12 lane highway, that is never going to happend. and yes i could have said 4 to 6lane, problem is that is already where some few places.
And thats why we post crap like this, so steam user learn the overcroweded lines vs normal traffic whatever that is, steam event sale is not normal traffic. and thats why ISP do not expand fiber line, and never will.
And be happy someone bother tell you this. because within a few years why will any tell yuo how network or glocal traffic is working.
This is not any steam user job to tell you or explan or educate you.
just wait and see steam user post in the future will be totaly ignored.
So best advice can soon be seen as contact your own ISP, for any related internet issue you might have. ohh and have a nice day, byebye.
special doing any kind of steam event sale. just wait and see.
Gl with understand global network.
