Slow SteamCMD workshop_download_item and/or timeout
Hello,

I want to update my Conan Exiles Server, where there are several mods 1GB+.

I encounter severe problems to download/update the mods on my windows root (MS Server 2022 Standard, 64 GB RAM, enough disc space on SSD) via SteamCMD.

I used the -overrideminos parameter (same problems no matter if I use it or not).

Commands were

+force_install_dir "D:\Senja_Test\DedicatedServerLauncher\ConanExilesDedicatedServer" +login anonymous
+app_update 443030default
+workshop_download_item 440900 3508169408 validate
+workshop_download_item 440900 1823412793 validate
+workshop_download_item 440900 2050780234 validate
+workshop_download_item 440900 3248573436 validate
+workshop_download_item 440900 2994634277 validate
+workshop_download_item 440900 3008860121 validate
and several more like this

+logoff
+quit

I also tried to login with a user, pwd and SteamGuardCode, this does not change anything.
Without the validate parameter the downloads went into timeout (e.g. for 3248573436 > 1 GB) but also mods smaller 1 GB takes ages to download, if they do at all.

Speedtest for the root are ok. Got nearly 1 GB/s Download and Upload. Used ports are free.

So I can absolutely narrow it down to SteamCMD.
The phenomenon appears no matter if I use a script or try to enter the commands manually.

Any hints or advices what else I can do?
Help is appreciated.

The problem still persists. Deleting the corresponding appmanifest within the steamapps folder also did not help.

I had the problem also several days prior to my initial posting.

Am I the only one having this problems?
