Family sharing playtime wrecked my refund request.
I recently bought Hitman WOA, but didn't notice that it was part one. I also added delux content into that. However, when I was playing the game, I wasn't able to access contents from Hitman 2,3.

Then I raised a refund request, but the playtime was 22hours due to previous family sharing playtime.

One of my friend had this game earlier and I used his account to play which accumulated playtime.

My refund is being denied everytime due to this even though I haven't touched 2hrs after purchasing the game.

Feeling kind of helpless here.

You can always a manual refund; the automated system only looks at the purchase time and play time.

Still, if they refuse a manual request, that's it. The overall idea is that if you buy a game you've already played, you know that it works.
submit a manual ticket. select the purchase, then select "I have a question" and make your request there. the auto system only looks at total time played, it does not check for when it was purchased nor hours played after purchase.
