So I bought this game on Steam

When I try to launch it, a window pops up saying: 'Fatal error: Please enable the playback device in your OS'. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do here. I mean, the game shouldn't need sound just to run, right? I literally can't even start the game until I fix this, but I don't even care about sound... I just want to play. Has anyone run into this before or know how to get around it? Any help would be appreciated.

UPDATE: Never mind, I figured it out! Turns out the solution was as simple as plugging in earphones. I don't have any speakers, so that might've triggered this weird error. Spent hours trying to troubleshoot this :^)Uu
