Steam is acting like malware with steam input interfering with any game using an Xbox controller.

There should be a global option to disable steam input for a controller, I don't want it to touch my controller. It seemingly randomly decides to take control and bork the bindings overriding with the chord configuration layout which has no way to disable AT ALL, making any game unplayable. This has been an issue as far as I know, since the post steam deck ui change and valve still has not addressed.
