it is also possible that there is a delay with the xp being given. either intended or accidental because of the sale going on
250 + (1.49 * (G-50))
325 + (1.1585 * (G-100))
Thus with 99 games you get 250 + (1.49 * (99-50)) which is 323 XP. And with 105 games, you will have earned 325 + (1.1585 * (105-100)) which is just 330 XP. So the difference is just 7 XP for going from 99 games to 105 games. So unless you required only 7 XP, then going from 99 to 105 games will not increase your Steam level. Purchasing games to gain XP is actually not very efficient. By crafting 4 sets of badges, you can gain more XP than from purchasing 105 games.
