Help with Steam Support
This may be stupid to ask, but at this point I am desperate:

When I logged in to Steam this morning, it demanded a log in, so I typed it in. And it said it was wrong. So I tried resetting it (after checking that I spelled it right) and you get to verify it. The issue was, below the field where you type in the code they send you, it said my email ends with interfeemail.rus and that is absolutely not where I have my email account. I tried to contact support but first I had to make a new account, this one, and even buy something simply to be able to contact the support. But all it did was asking for my account name (which then leads to the same as above described), my emailadress (which apparently wasn't connected to any account) or my phone number (which resulted of me waiting for an hour for a confirmation, and even did it again and the same happened).

At this point it was unfortunately pretty clear that my account was hijacked somehow. The issue is, I can't contact support at all. All their trouble shooter solution does not seem to take this into consideration. Someone last night (i was able to log in yesterday without issue) got into my account, changed the email address and deleted my phone number.

How do I contact the Steam account to figure out how or even if they can help me with that? I had this account for over 13 years now and even though I don't have many games on it (around 40 or so) some where dear to me and also expensive since many of them where Paradox games for example with loads of DLC's

Steam Account Recovery

It is possible to recover a stolen Steam account. You don't need access to the email, phone or password currently tied to the stolen account for this to work.

The recovery process allows you to contact Steam Support to provide proof of ownership.

Follow this guide to recover your account:

Thank you so much. This is my recovered account. You literally saved me from a huge desperate temper tantrum :-) I also immediately changed all passwords on my email and all that since I don't know how they got into my account in the first place

Have you logged into any third party sites that ask for your full Steam login credentials, this is the most common way people give away access to their accounts?

The safest way is to login to Steam in your browser, legitimate sites will then have the green login through Steam button. Illegitimate ones will ask you to enter your Steam username and password.

Mostly these are skin trading sites, but sometimes they're 'vote for my team' or free money links sent by friends who have also been hijacked.
